“You’re never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read to a child.”

Today in the Elementary School Library, I set up a display (should have taken a photo for you) of Dr. Seuss books. I found lots of printable activities and made copies for the kids to color/draw/participate. Next Friday, in honor of Theodore Geisel a.k.a. Dr. Seuss’ birthday, it’s the annual Read Across America day! Pass the word on to your local schools or public Libraries or just check in with them as they may have already planned some events for the children 🙂
